Avoid Malicious Popups in Chrome!

The Internet as it is today is something that no one can miss. The Internet/ Google searches help us to know the details of what we do not know, and to do most of our day-to-day personnel chats. Notification Prompts is a problem that we often encounter when doing Google search. So in this article, we will look at how to prevent notification prompts from appearing.

The Notification Prompts is a trick that is used to increase their website reaches. When browsing a website from a computer, you often see ads and auto-playing videos pop-up on the top or either on the left or right side of the screen. For this reason, if a pop-up is clicked, it will automatically load the website. This does not only increase the number of reaches on a particular website but also redirect the user to websites that are not appropriate. So most of the times, users get distracted because of these pop-ups.

So let's see how to prevent these notifications from popping up in the Google Chrome which is the most used browser by people among us.

1. First, click on dots 3 in the upper right corner of the browser and select the “Settings” option.

2. Next, go to the bottom of the screen and select "Advanced" -> "Site Settings" (under the Privacy and Security header) respectively.

3. Then click on the “Notification” option on the screen.

4. As a final step, click on the toggle next to “Ask before sending (recommended)” (change it to -> Blocked).

In addition, if we want to provide notification popup access to only a select few websites, select the "Add option" next to "Allow header". Then type the URL of the website we want to add and add.

So by following these steps step by step we can easily prevent the notification pop up. So notification popup will not bother you when you use websites anymore. See you again in another article like this.

Thank you...
