New cryptocurrency unit from Facebook?

Facebook officially announced the launch of a cryptocurrency unit called "Libra" 18th of June, signaling a new direction for financial transactions history.

Cryptocurrency refers to the creation of a unit of currency by means of encryption, independently of the central bank of a country, to enable it to transact money.

This allows you to exchange your local currency to Libra currency, transact anonymously and get your money back at any time without extra transaction fees. We have also introduced a digital wallet called "Calibra wallet" to make use of this currency unit in conjunction with apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

Already 28 companies, such as PayPal, Uber, Visa, eBay, have agreed to work with Facebook as the founding members of the new financial unit, and Facebook hopes to increase that number to 100. Further, in reference to the Libra currency,  ≋ denotes the Libra Currency while $ denotes the dollar unit, and it is already known that the initial value of the Libra association is calculated by the Libra Association is somewhat equal to the dollar value.

In particular, whenever you make payments through Libra, they are permanently included in the Libra Blockchain, a general online ledger. This blockchain is managed using nodes. Libra Association further states that if it affects more than one-third of the transaction validator nodes, all transactions will be suspended, causing damage and providing software updates. Developed under the Apache 2.0 license using the move coding language, this blockchain is expected to be released in 2020, giving any developer the ability to upgrade.

If Facebook succeeds in this new financial year, the convenience of the customer as well as the founding members, including Facebook, will result in a greater shareholding and interest income. Likewise, if the financing process is found to be unreliable because of its openness, it may be a hit to the world.

Finally, many believe that the coming year will be a new step in the financial world, including the Facebook affiliate Libra Currency and Calibra wallet.

Thank you...
