The name of this new malware is "Cookie Miner". This malware can steal passwords and iPhone text messages saved in chrome.
According to Palo Alto Networks, a global cybersecurity firm, the malware can steal user names, passwords and Google credit card credentials saved in Google Chrome.
Cookie Miner, a malware that can steal browser cookies on exchange and wallet service websites, claims that combining Web cookies and SMS data can prevent such attacks.
If this malware succeeds, attackers will have access to its victims' exchange account or wallet, and the threat of being able to use them as a cashier is a serious threat.
Web cookies are used for authentication. Once logged in to a web site, those cookies are stored in the web browser and we know our logging status. It is wise to be aware of this, even if the malware has not affected us yet.
