Be Aware if you Save Passwords in Web Browsers!

Computer viruses are one of the most common things we hear when we talk about computers and technology. Although we think that everything we talk about and threaten us is viruses, no, they all are not viruses. Viruses are just another part of Malware.

What is malware?

Malware or malicious software is simply any code or program that can damage a system. Malware can infect any system, network, and even mobile devices and tablets. Then the whole system is controlled by the malware, not by the same device operation. Some malware like this is adware, bots, bugs, rootkits, spyware, Trojan horses, viruses and worms.

Today I'm going to bring you some information about one of the latest malware caught so recently. Even though there is no a lot of information about this malware in our country, we can't say it is not a threat to us. So let's find out what this malware is.

The name of this new malware is "Cookie Miner". This malware can steal passwords and iPhone text messages saved in chrome.

According to Palo Alto Networks, a global cybersecurity firm, the malware can steal user names, passwords and Google credit card credentials saved in Google Chrome.

Cookie Miner, a malware that can steal browser cookies on exchange and wallet service websites, claims that combining Web cookies and SMS data can prevent such attacks.

If this malware succeeds, attackers will have access to its victims' exchange account or wallet, and the threat of being able to use them as a cashier is a serious threat.

Web cookies are used for authentication. Once logged in to a web site, those cookies are stored in the web browser and we know our logging status. It is wise to be aware of this, even if the malware has not affected us yet.

Till we come to you with another article, share this with your friends and let them also gain knowledge.

Thank you...
